Meet the fabulous four!
From left to right -
Vivienne Bryant, & sisters Janet Bolland,
Elaine Cavicchia and Lynne Peets.
Lynne Peets
Lynne Peets
Self taught, Lynne has always had a passion for painting and is sensitive to shape and colour;
a gift, within which she has developed her own immediately recognisable style.
Lynne prefers to paint 'en plein air' with her chosen view ahead, the sun on her back, a hat on her head
and her sisters and a picnic at her side, hoping her sheer pleasure is reflected in her paintings for all to enjoy.
Her colourful and sometimes humorous approach
conveys her love and angle on life.
Elaine Cavicchia
Elaine's style in acrylics are of a semi-abstract/impression of her subject which are very popular.
However, in watercolour, she finds a more detailed interpretation.
Elaine's favourite day is packing a picnic (preferably with a bottle of wine) and finding a beautiful place to sit and paint all day
with Janet and Lynne.
Janet Bolland
Born locally, Janet has studied and gained experience in various mediums, preferring to work in situ, whether in the garden or perched on a log in a field. "I continue to be fascinated by the subtle beauty and intricate design of nature and the light,
colours and shapes of land and sea.
There is nothing so inspiring as to be outdoors and capture the moment of a glorious view or the beauty of a flower".
Janet's work has been accepted for exhibitions at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and other venues.
Vivienne Bryant
As a self-taught artist, Vivienne has refined her skills through various courses and workshops including a workshop with renowned fine artist Trevor Waugh; Vivienne has also worked with a diverse array of media, including sculpture and drawing.
Now residing in Devon, she has adopted a new style, employing acrylics and inks to portray the vibrant marine life and stunning landscapes of Brixham. Drawing inspiration from the local fish market and coastal scenery, her artwork reflects the essence of her surroundings, meticulously crafted with the assistance of her husband, Mike, who constructs all the boards for her artwork.
We invite you to explore her remarkable creations.
